At the invitation of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Representatives a representative of the “European association of fishermen at the Black Sea” will take part in the National Blue Growth in Bulgaria.
The event, to be held on 11 April 2018 in Sofia, is part of the Black Sea Blue Growth Mechanism initiated by the European Commission.
The plenary session will present the integrated maritime policy, demonstrated through concrete examples; Blue Growth Mechanism in the Black Sea: A comprehensive mission to support bluefin growth in the Black Sea. Workgroups will discuss views on possible areas of interest for regional cooperation with regard to the blue economy.
The aim of the event is to achieve a shared vision of the state of the Blue Economy, which will help to develop national recommendations and identify potential areas of cooperation at regional level.
The seminar will be attended by representatives of ministries involved in the maritime sector – National issues and priorities and representatives of the European Commission.
