Dr. Dimitrina Kostova, who is Chairman of the European Black Sea Fishermen Association will participate in working group meetings of the Advisory Council for the Black Sea, which will held on September 25 and 26 in Ibis hotel – Constanta, Romania.
At the meeting of Working Group 1 will be considered illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing; actual practices in the Black Sea; challenges facing Romania and Bulgaria; attitude of scientists and administration, etc.
The topics of the meeting to be discussed in Working Group 2 include: small-scale fishing – review; actual practices in the Black Sea; definition criteria, data survey; attitude of scientists and administration, etc.
As a result, it is expected to finalize options for recommendations and advice to DG MDRE, GFCM, Ministries and Departments of the Member States – Bulgaria and Romania.
The session of the Advisory Council will continue on September 27 with a meeting of the Governing board which the Association is a member.
