| SUCCESSFUL PROJECT CONSULT BG Ltd’s experts will take part in a conference on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF), which will present the results of the implementation of the pilot project “Small-scale fishing support measures” financed by the European Commission. The project, which amounts to € 177,767, starts in the beginning of 2016 and will end at the end of this year. He met wide public support with the aim of integrating the small-scale fisheries sector with the priorities of European, national, regional and local authorities for sustainable fisheries management in Bulgaria and Romania.
The Estonian Presidency of the EU and the European Commission are jointly hosting a conference on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) on 12-13.10.2017. Stakeholders from all across the EU will convene to discuss how the EMFF is helping to support the implementation of the Common Fisheries Policy and Maritime Policy in the current programming period (2014-2020). The event will also represent the opportunity to discuss the current and future challenges of coastal communities, as well as potential policy responses. |
