The high-level conference, to be held on 25-26 September in Malta, is focused on ensuring best practices becomes future standard practices.
Within the framework of the conference, representatives of SP CONSULT BG Ltd. and the European Black Sea Fisheries Association will participate with a presentation that is included in the panel “The role of platforms to engage and promote cooperation among small-scale fisheries towards a regional network of fishers”.
SP CONSULT BG Ltd. will present the actions identified as good practice for the establishment of the European Black Sea Fishermen Association, the established contacts with organizations and platforms involved in the implementation of measures for economic stability of the representatives of small-scale fishermen.
The topic that will be discussed in the panel session is “Targeted action to improve the status of small-scale fishermen, ensuring they occupy their rightful place in regional economic development”.
Will be prepared recommendation to the GFCM on how to support participation of SSF actors and organisations/platform in the implementation of the SSF-RPOA
