The President of the European Association of Fishermen in the Black Sea Dr. Dimitrina Kostova participated in the meeting of Working Group 6 of the Advisory Council on the Black Sea (BlSAC) held on 23.02.2022 on the topic: “Working conditions in fisheries – continuing the work of the working 2021 group. Safety and protection measure for fishermen “. During the day there is a focus group on the topic: FG 1 – “Small-scale fishing – challenges for small-scale fishermen in Bulgaria and Romania”.
The meetings were attended by the Chairman of the KSCM Mr. Buhai, the Secretary General of the BlSAC Dr. Gospodinov, representatives of the European Commission – Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Ms. Belekou and Ms. Chobanova, members of the Board of BlSAC, representatives of scientists, administration of various institutions in Romania. The main presentation on “Small-scale fishing in the Black Sea” was presented by Ms. Pinelopi Belekou, which after its presentation will be published on the website of the association http://smallscalefishing.eu/publications/
On February 24, 2022, the first meeting of the year of the Board of BlSAC was held, in which the President of the European Association of Fishermen in the Black Sea Dr. Dimitrina Kostova is a member.
