During the November 3-4 2020 the chairman of the European Fisheries Association of the Black Sea Dr. Dimitrina Kostova participated in Management Board of the Black Sea Advisory Council.
The meeting, which was online, report about the work of the BLSAC with the EFKA Advisory Board and the Administrative Board in 2020. The work program of the BlSAC for 2021, new procedures and rules, etc. will be discussed.
The General Assembly was attended not only by members from the Bulgarian and Romanian sides, but also by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of Romania, representatives of DG MARE – EC, NAFA – Bulgaria and Romania.
The participants agreed that the topic should continue and that a network of fishing communities from Romania and Bulgaria should be established to report and be ready to collect marine litter, thus assisting the public authorities.
